Honorary Members
Nobody is suggesting that there is a direct causal link between membership of the Economist's Society and going on to achieve great and noble things in the world at large, but let's face it, there is a pretty decent correlation. In light of the merits of some of our members we feel it is necessary to break the habit of a lifetime and raise the tone: the men and women below have done a great service to the economics department at UCL, and we are both humbled and honoured to have worked in their presence within the corridors of Drayton House. Wherever they go and whatever further challenges and successes they encounter, we wish them the very best and bestow upon them the title of honorary member.
