Welcome to UCL folks! The Economist's Society is your departmental resource and will adopt a pastoral and organisational role throughout your time at (let's face it) the world's greatest all-round university (source: my hunch, which is like Thomson Reuters for this kind of thing). We actively encourage you to take part in societal events, collaborate with your peers in our socials and ask whatever questions you might have - everybody else is probably asking the same question, and we in the committee have all been there before, even if involves waking up in an unrecognisable part of London, covered in honey.
