“To transform the loose relationships fostered by three years of shared university experience into lifelong friendships, into a worldwide network of intellectuals and into a platform for concerted action.”
The Drayton Alumni Club is a group of former students who decided that graduation was too early a point in life to part ways with the great people they got to know during their time at the UCL Economics Department.
The Club meets once a year, typically in early June, for a day of discussion, food and drink in central London. Additionally it provides a platform throughout the year to stay in touch, share ideas and ask for help with things.
Members receive bi-yearly emails from the Chairman of the Economist’s Society with updates from UCL and in particular Drayton House.
Membership is open to everyone. Lifetime membership fee to cover the club’s administrative expenses is £25.00. Attendance of the annual meeting is expected, as is the continuous updating of contact information. Non-compliance can lead to expulsion.
